Customer Quality and Reliability group is looking for outstanding talent who is passionate in customer technology enabling, program management and embracing technical challenges with analytical and growth mindset to join the Platform Solution Engineering Team With the fast growing Cloud customer manufacturing quality opportunities, possible responsibilities include but not limit to: � Hands-on with customer issue triage and debug whenever needed as technical expert. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders from various business units for investigation, communicate with BU partners on progress and proliferate key learning across team after issue closure. � Plan and execute platform technology enabling plan by collaborating with customer manufacturing domain experts to articulate technology and customer manufacturing risk with enablement approach, drive execution, and aggregate cross customer learning and strengthening upstream feedback process to Intel designers and architects. Influence Intel designers and architects on feature design phrase with manufacturability in mind. � Be the domain expert to proactively explore and investigate the various new features, technology, component, tools and processes. With the anticipation of how the new features, technology, component may create additional diagnostic challenges for our customer and Intel. Be our focal connect point and technical expert connecting into this area, clarify internal plan, voice customer manufacturing requirement upstream, and drive better awareness across CQR to avoid bad surprises. � Partnering with customer - OEMs, ODM engineers and board/system factories - directly to understand their manufacturing processes and capabilities which will enable you and your peers to identify gaps and opportunities to improve the manufacturability of our products and enhance customers' processes and capabilities. � Grow Intel technical network and upstream influencing with our partners in Client and Server technical community
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
� Experience in platform debug and feature validation - triage, duplicate issues and initiate resolution strategy
� Good collaboration with customers, vendors and internal designer for join-debug and push for workaround / resolution
� Good project management skills to drive timely deliverables per plan
� Fast self-starter to work with ambiguity and deliver results
� Good communication and analytical thinking, problem solving and issue management skills
� Ability to work with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum qualifications:
� Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronic, Electrical, Computer Engineering or other related field of study
� 6+ years of relevant experience in PC or Server HW, semiconductor quality and reliability, semiconductor manufacturing, testing or validation related field
� Proven record of debug or project management skills
Preferred qualifications:
� Experience with Server customers board/system manufacturing test and diagnostic process
� Experience with Cloud Service Provider in the area of manufacturing quality function with broad understanding of customer quality, product development and ecosystem
� Have technical experience in the area of IA development, board and schematic design, platform test validation and technical support on Server products
� Knowledgeable in Machine Check Architecture, RAS, storage, networking, virtualization, manageability or security for Server system is PLUS
� Hands-on platform triage and debug skillset is PLUS
