Job Description

Advanced Design Technology and Solutions ADTS group within Intel Assembly Test Technology Development ATTD is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Software Technical Program Manager to lead cutting edge Design Tools Development delivering design automation for efficiency, quality and analysis of Intel Silicon, Package and Board Designs to realize Intel's IDM 2.0 vision with advanced packaging design tools and technologies.

Leads the creation, implementation, and optimization of software tools used in of Intel Silicon, Package and Board Design domains. Develops processes and methodologies to ensure success of a complex project, including but not limited to product and release planning, identification of milestones and project goals, creation of schedules, and tracking of all items to ensure successful project delivery. Manages the project deliverables and project milestones.

Drives creation and execution of the program Plan of Record, including Scope, Requirements Management, Success Criteria, Schedule, Resources, and Quality.

Responsible for stakeholder management, including coordination of departmental or cross-functional/cross-organizational teams as well as communication within the organization, outward to other internal groups and external customers. Acts as a single program voice. Solid understanding of customers and customer environment. Thorough understanding of the software legal compliance process, how to apply it and ensure that legal risks to Intel are mitigated. Defines and manages the project plan, driving closure on issues and gaps as well as maintains focus on continuous improvement.

Knowledgeable in modern software development methodologies, programming languages, domain knowledge, and secure coding practices used to design, develop, debug, and/or validate algorithms, software tools, and systems that enable our internal/external engineering partners to design/manufacture intel silicon, integrate Intel silicon and/or software into impactful products. Examples of tools/systems include debuggers, analyzers, SDKs, IDEs, PDKs, performance monitors, software tools and libraries, flows, and/or methodologies for design, manufacturing, validation, and test.Drives interdisciplinary requirements gathering, helps with frontline support and functional


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for screening candidates. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 6+ years of experience or Master Degree with 4+ years of experience

  • 5+ years of leading highly complex Software Technical Programs.

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience in C#, ASP.NET, Angular JS, SQL Server, RESTful JSON APIs, MongoDB, JQuery or similar technologies in a Windows and/or Visual Studio environment.

  • Proven track record of working effectively in cross divisional and cross cultural environments to deliver exceptional results.

  • 3 + years expertise in Software Program Management practices and usage of metrics/indicators to drive continuous improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership and influencing skills in leading software teams to deliver high quality results with predictable execution from concept through deployment.

  • Excellent communication skills to be a single voice for senior management and technical stakeholders alike.

  • Startup mindset with flexibility to jump into any aspect of the program from requirements gathering, frontline support and testing.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
