Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

The Hardware Operations team is responsible for deploying and maintaining the state-of-the-art physical systems behind Google's powerful technology. The team also takes care of the infrastructure that makes up Google’s cloud infrastructure and the backend physical systems that power Google’s Machine Learning.

As a Technical Program Manager in Hardware Operations' Industrial Infrastructure team, you will be responsible to help build, deploy and maintain infrastructure to support the maintenance of Google's systems and network.

Responsibilities

• Work with industrial tooling related to data center operations.
• Create, modify and enhance mechanical designs for tooling related to work in the data centers.
• Review material flows for Hardware Operations processes related to industrial tooling.
