YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate technical development for new products in Nutritionals, Digestive Health and Naturals by supervising all technical development activities for projects as well as providing technical project management, developing and monitoring project plan, timing, budget and risks
• Ensure successful and timely product development, control, stability, process transfer and technical dossier by ensuring selection of raw materials according to appropriate regulatory and quality standards as well as ensuring appropriate documentation is available for all raw materials (e.g. herbs, extracts, excipients, packaging)
• implementing the formulation and analytical trials internally and externally, identifying suitable manufacturing processes respecting the target CoGs as well as ensuring a proper transfer of the manufacturing process to the final production and hand over to internal stakeholders
• performing the stability tests and align the shelf-life recommendation with analytical development as well as writing and/or coordinating the writing of CMC dossiers parts.
• Effectively leverage external partnership and expert network by identifying most appropriate opportunities to outsource product development work and effectively collaborating with external laboratories, service providers and experts in the phytomedicines area
• Operate and maintain effective produce development processes including raw materials management by ensuring appropriate equipment and processes are used for all development activities as well as ensuring all development batches including clinical or consumer samples are produced according to latest standards and SOPs and ensuring maintenance and monitoring of raw materials stocks.
• Contribute to the feasibility assessment of new ideas by evaluating and recommending new product innovations and delivering  prototypes aligned with marketing and consumer needs   

WHO YOU ARE

• Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or other relevant scientific discipline
• Severeal years working experience in the FMCH / OTC area
• Track record of NPD launches and leading development of new innovative products
• Knowledge of GMP and GLP requirements
• Ability to prioritise work efficiently to help others to do the same and excellent negotiation skills and high credibility as well as good administrative and organisational skills
• Fluent in english written and spoken
