About Role:

As part of the HPC server team, this electrical engineer is expect to work
with peer functions as a team to development the leading edge Lenovo high
performance computer offerings. As the system engineer, this role will lead
platform design, implementation, and verification of both the hardware
schematics/layout/tooling and related firmware for the projects and manages
relationships with internal and outsourced development partners.
This role would apply developed subject matter knowledge to design, analyze,
develop, modify and evaluate the key components of the platform, integrate
sub-systems and firmware and hardware.  Conducts feasibility studies, design
margin and validation analyses and empirical testing on new and modified
designs. Assists in architecture development and assessment. Evaluates
reliability of materials, properties, designs, and techniques used in
production. May direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed
design, design testing and prototype fabrication.

Responsibilities

\- As the platform hardware development owner, designs engineering solutions
for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and
algorithms based on established engineering principles and in accordance with
development technology practices and guidelines.

• Work as primary interface of server project technical manager from NPI to
sustaining to end of life planning, and communicate with each function teams
from development to delivery.

• Host weekly team meeting and advocate on behalf of system development team
to ensure high degree of customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with internal engineering team, marketing, supply chain,
quality, and service for schedule/cost/quality to meet time-to-market
requirements from pre-concept phase to product launch.

• Constant communicate for issue/cost/schedule/quality matter through product
lifecycle with customer.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Fluent in English.

#### Position Requirements:


• Bachelor's or Master's degree Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years' experience

• Extensive experience with using project and program planning tools and
software packages to create, manage, and track project results.

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

• Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects
of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed
teams and resources.

• Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results,
and negotiate options at senior management levels.
PMP/PMI certification preferred
architectures, design proposals and negotiate options to peer and management
in both Mandarin and English.

• Experience in AMD platform is a plus
