Technical Purchase & Logistics Manager for Bilfinger Guangzhou Engineering and Technologies Co., Ltd.

MAIN TASKS

• Strictly follow corporate compliance requirements
• Find and develop local suppliers of various (high-end) technical parts
• Ensure on-time and predictable delivery of supplier parts
• Cooperate/coordinate with the oversees requirements and ensure the needed QAQC activities
• Handle Chinese and oversees customs matters in a pro-active way
• Handle Chinese and oversees in/export tax matters in a pro-active way
• Provide rolling forecast to suppliers
• Setup supplier framework contracts with price agreements, delivery times and local stock
• Develop a purchasing strategy that meets the business needs
• Supplier relation management
• Implement dual-sourcing strategy for selected parts
• Handle supplier rejects and complaints
• Create periodical supplier reviews
• Negotiate supplier prices and conditions like payment terms, warrantee and exchange policy
  

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position
• Experience in commercial and international environments
• Experience in supplier development of high-end technical parts
• Experience in working with overseas buyers and local suppliers

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor degree in engineering, mechanical engineering preferred
• Pro-active attitude
• Team player, cooperate with suppliers, overseas buyers, customs & logistics team
• Trustworthy personality
• Reading of mechanical drawings and technical specifications
