Based in Singapore

In this role, you will be the primary driver of business development to penetrate and grow current and new business, supporting the Cell Biology & Cellular Analysis product base. You will be recognized as a technical leader and business development leader within the sales team that drives strategic objectives and adoption of new products.

Responsibilities

• Selling and promoting the Cell Biology & Cellular Analysis portfolio across a defined territory
• Managing existing accounts and prospecting for new business that will contribute to sales growth, including; managing, and keeping up to date, opportunity funnels and forecasting reports
• Support and understand customer needs while meeting and striving to exceed sales targets
• Work within a broader sales team and engage with multiple internal stakeholders
• Provide information to and from the territory
• Promote the company’s image and product reputation
• Attend Trade Exhibitions as required to generate leads and prospects for the company’s products
• Conduct customer specific promotions to encourage sales growth and the development of a positive company position
• Develop and execute technology seminars applicable to the account research focus
• Develop strong working relationship with Marketing, Technical Support, Customer Support and Production
• Organize and conduct technical seminars and workshops
• Field travel is necessary (30% or more)

Requirements

• At least 2 years relevant experience in sales and account relationship management preferred
• A strong knowledge of the Cell Biology and Cellular Analysis market, including associated products is desired
• Master degree or Post-graduate qualification in Life Sciences
• Strong Life Sciences knowledge with at least 3 years’ experience in the cellular imaging and cell biology
• Results-oriented individuals with excellent negotiation & closing skills
