As a Technical Sales Support Specialist, ABB Smart Power is a global technology leader, with solutions that make power supplies smart, connected and protected. You will be the technical point person for the Sales organization in GPG EV Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) Product Group/ Smart Power Business Line/ Electrification Business in Shenzhen/China country/NAS region. As A Technical Sales Support Specialist of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure business you work in one of the fastest growing new industries in China. You will be part of the commercial team that is responsible for the sales and marketing success of this entrepreneurial unit within ABB. You are working together with Sales and Marketing team to develop the customer solutions to Chinese car manufacturers and charging network operators assigned. You are able to make the connection and build relationships between customer and ABB internal, include R&D, Operation and Service, to support to sales team to do pre-sales activities, include prepare technical solution, bidding documents, project follow up, make sure the customer project run smooth and successful. You contribute significantly to the top line of the business towards a market leader position and contribute to fundaments of a sustainable world.
- Offer technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers with regard to ABB products/systems/ applications. Provide technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations.
- Perform analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs. Propose technical solutions for complex enquiries.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues.
- Prepare and check technical articles for publication.

- Bachelor’s Degree, major in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Engineering/Technical Application in Electrical industry and working in EV charger industry is an added advantage.
- Good sales and customer project management skill. Able to provide technical solution to customer and monitoring & coordinate the customer project implementation.
- Proven technical commercial success in technical Business2Business.
- Well-organized self-starter, who transparently reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
- Work in a multi-cultural team.
- Able to frequently travel to visit customer and self-motivate with passion in sales job.
- Fluent in oral and written English and Chinese.
