This is a Technical Sales Support Specialist role reporting to the Technical Sales Support Manager in the Business Area – Electrification, Global Markets located in Jinan and Xiamen in China. You will be responsible to support the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the proposal process. You will also serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area.
Your responsibilities
- Offering technical advice and providing comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB products/systems/ applications. Providing technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations.
- Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs, proposing technical solutions for complex enquiries.
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues.
- Offering product/solution/service-related training.
- Preparing and checking technical articles for publication.

Your background
- Must have a bachelor’s degree or above.
- Minimum 5 years sales working experience in related field.
- Familiarity with MV/LV Switchgear’s products and market.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills expected.
- Good understanding of the business model (purchasing behaviors).
- Should have good teamwork spirit.
- Good English and computer level.
