Job Description

Lenovo is seeking an experienced Technical Seller who will be responsible for working closely with the both the Lenovo Field Services Seller and the Customer to position, sell and close services opportunities.  The Technical Seller will help in developing comprehensive, creative and cost effective services solutions for our customers and ultimately presenting these solutions to the customer and helping to close the transaction.  Successful candidates will evaluate customer opportunities as presented in, RFPs/RFQs or engagements, from the Services Sales teams and use this information to develop services solutions to meet customer’s requirements. Lenovo professional/managed services include installation/deployment; staff augmentation; break/fix services; Windows readiness reviews, and asset recovery services.  This role requires an individual who has a customer centric mindset, is focused on IT services solutions and someone with a passion for sales.  The Technical Seller will also have experience with the development and review of SOW contracts, experience working with third party partners and the ability to create and ultimately present proposals to customers.  Additional responsibilities include: • Single point of contact for Services Field Seller (BDM – Business Development Manager) for manage services and automation solutioning • Engaged in customer meetings both onsite or through conference calls • Managing opportunities from inception through to contract signature – voice to the field Services Seller (BDM) and customer • Collaborating with Services Field Seller (BDM), Account Team and customer in scope discovery and building out solution • Proposal delivery and readout to the customer • Measured directly on close rate and driving contract signature/completion • Promote, sell, manage pipeline and attain sales target results. This role is on a sales plan with sales quota targets. #### Position Requirements: • 5+ years of senior services selling and/or consulting; experience with SOW’s, Business Development, Proposal Creation, Professional Services, Project Management and/or IT Services operations. • Direct experience in the IT Services Industry focused on PC’s • Proven success in building and closing services solutions with customers in the IT industry • Strategic mindset and sound business acumen is required, along with effective strategic decision making both internally and externally with customers • Exceptional communication, both oral and written, and polished presentation skills • Solid prioritization skills, attention to detail, commitment to deadlines • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel & salesforce.com • Proven ability to operate with a high level of professionalism; entrepreneurialism and agility • Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of the organization with a teaming attitude • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
