As a Technical Service Engineer you will provide technical product and system support to internal staff and external customers; complete technical-oriented service tasks of various scopes; and support in planning and managing these tasks. In this role you will be responsible for: Leading in complex product support and problem solving to customers remotely via the complaint handling processes and documenting accordingly. Involvement in on-site and in-house troubleshooting for complex products and product issues that arise in the field. Management of cross-functional teams focused on problem solving for critical (hot) accounts that encounter complex problems. Assisting in programs to increase customer satisfaction. Leading the field communication program which provides information to the field via service knowledge bulletins. Providing recommendations of complex product needs of the customer to product design groups. Leading coordination for new product introductions as they relate to Headquarter support. Preempting potential problems and providing effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes. Displaying original thinking in applying principles, theories, and concepts on a wide scale of problem solving. Leading technical exchange meetings with regional service colleagues. Successfully serve as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise. Demonstrate knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contribute to problem resolution of those issues. Act as advisor to management and business partners on routine technical matters. Experience and requirements for success in this role: 8-10 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of responsibilities above. BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience.
