Job Description
- - Focused on Post sale technical support to all customers.
- Involvement in and responsibility for education and/or troubleshooting on QIAGEN solutions, including consumables, instrumentation and applications in all markets remotely through e-tools.
- Contribute to achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain highest possible level of technical knowledge and networking.
- Maintain medium level knowledge of automation / instrumentation and related applications.
- Provide second –tier support for Sales and Application Specialists by performing on-line trainings, seminars for internal customers when necessary.
- Maintain and develop positive relationships with customers.
- Maintaining highest customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of reference customers.
- Actively promote QIAGEN products.
- Give active feedback to Sales, Marketing, Field Service, Global Product Support, Global Training, Quality Assurance and your team/management.
- Manage effective available time and resources.
- Provide cross-border/district/region support when required.
- Positively represent QIAGEN in front of the customer, be a good example!
- On-time expense Case maintenance to Customer-Relationship Maintenance System (CRM).
- Position Requirements
- Preferable minimum of 1 year service and support experience in a comparable position within the after sales service business.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of QIAGEN and/or competitor products for all market segments.
- At least University degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biological Science, Molecular Biology or equivalent experience, preferable Automation experience and Master Degree.
- Personal Requirements
- Written and verbal English language communication skills, additional languages highly desirable.
- Very good communication skills.
