Job Description
The role is part of Global Competence Platform and acts as a program manager for a dedicated client audit programs.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the Client’s Program related operational activities
- Ensure the procedures are followed by the executing affiliates of the network and monitor the effectiveness of procedures across the network to ensure delivery of services in line with SGS requirements and Client’s expectations.
- Ensure Continuous improvement and promote technical excellence across the network related to the Client’s Programs
- Liaise with the Client on behalf of SGS as single point of contact for day to day RBS activity
- Management of Client’s complaints: Survey and appraisal of investigative actions carried out by concerned affiliates and communication of investigation results to the Client.
- Liaise with all relevant parties in accordance with the RBS Global procedures for the management any claim or complaint related to the product.
- Monitoring of affiliate performance: Check and appraisal of action plans proposed by affiliates to improve effectiveness in the execution of the Client’s Program.
- Technical review for Surveillance packages from all affiliates as per sample size defined in Annual Management Review meeting.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in any discipline preferably with manufacturing experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing supply chain compliance program with extensive client interface
- At least 3 years of experiences in toys/premium, juvenile products, electronics, garment or textile industries
- Experience /knowledge of major stakeholder’s compliance initiatives, such as quality system standards (such as ISO 9001, BRC), security audit standards (such as C-TPAT, TAPA), or social responsibility compliance schemes (such as SA8000, SMETA, BSCI, WRAP, EICC)
- Mature, independent, with strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in spoken and written English & Chinese is a must
- Internationally recognized social or quality auditor qualification is a definite advantage
