• To manage critical IT infrastructure project implementation / BAU support activities to support the achievement of key business strategic and operational goals of AIA Group and its individual business units.

• To manage the SAP servers and system landscape for AIA including any finance related systems to be used at the regional level as warranted by Group Finance.

• To manage applications from the technology aspects (e.g. middleware, DB, operating system, cloud infrastructure etc) including critical technical road maps with planned schedules and deliverables.

• To gate keep vendors deliverable with a robust vendor management model on all technical solution related matters.

Job Description :

To lead the Technical Solution team in the following areas:

• Design of SAP Platform solution inclusive of planning, sizing, build, deployment, and development of new SAP systems from prototyping phase to production systems.
• Knowledge Management initiative on Intellectual Property retention.
• Support PMO and Program Management focusing on technical project needs.
• Work closely and adhere to AIA security tollgate assessment process from GIS team.
• Support and Deliver all Group Office technical initiatives.
• Drive and Deliver all EASC strategic initiatives.
• Vendor management – ensure robust model in relation to vendors SLA and deliverables.
• SOWs and service contracts review, formations, approvals and maintenance.
• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by Head of EASC to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Job Requirements :

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree Information Technology/Systems, or Engineering or Business related degree majoring in computing systems or other professional qualification equivalent

Experience:

• At least 15 years of related experience in managing a team with strong technical IT and infrastructure background.
• KPI driven and result oriented.

Practical Skills/Abilities:

• Able to manage multiple stakeholders and work in multiple projects/initiatives while supporting BAU operations.
• Possess good analytical, communication, presentation and soft skills.
• Able to communicate well in English.
• Able to write clearly and concisely and work within tight deadlines.
• Able to work extended hours when necessary.
• Possess personal attributes such as forward thinking, maturity, interpersonal skills, professional integrity and excellent leadership.

Certificates/licenses:

• Preference for certification in respective technology/platform area.
