This is an Intel Contract Employee (ICE) position and the location is Phoenix, AZ and relocation assistance will be provided.

As a Technical Support Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Provide support of Azure Virtual Machines for FCE.
• Perform research and testing of fixes with respect to Azure Virtual Machines and potentially other Azure services.
• Troubleshoot user issues with respect to Azure Virtual Machines.
• Procure, setup, and manage computer assets (laptops, desktops, workstations, mobile devices) to ensure the devices are ready for use.
• Track those assets and further support them as required.
• Perform support services for P6 and EasyPower (connectivity issues, backups, and general troubleshooting with clients and vendors).
• Support sites where FCE has a presence with troubleshooting of computer-related issues.
• Perform pathfinding exercises for any new domains within the Azure ecosystem.
• Install software and security patches on client and server computers. 

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

• The candidate must have 6+ years of direct experience supporting Windows-based hardware and software and the Azure platform.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
