Job Description
Job Summary Primary point of contact for all technical support issues around pre-sales, commissioning and after sales for switching & control components. The role is part of the TEC-Team in the Austrian Customer Service Organisation (EatonCare). Your Profile Manage technical enquires such delivery-to-order and standard configuration-to order solutions including products and systems from Eaton Electrical portfolio. Draft advanced technical quotes with a suggested net selling price based on electrical diagrams, lists of material, tender documents, technical data, product lists from competitor’s catalogues. Manage cross references and provide technical support in choosing the components among the EATON product portfolio and competitors. Assist internal and external customers with product selection and application assistance via email and phone. Design and calculation and draft of technical solutions and quotations (BidManager, Configurator and other engineering tools). Provide support in testing for software’s and tools for design and quotations. Acquire technical knowledge and expertise for specific product families and help in knowledge sharing sessions for new joiners and colleagues 1st and 2nd level technical support Product Lifecycle Management Qualifications Your essential skills: Electrotechnical degree At least 3 years in technical support for industrial customers Electrical engineering fundamentals, knowledge of industrial switchgear, drives and soft starters and related applications Capability to understand and read electrical one-line diagrams and circuits schemes Understanding of electrical market and segments and sales related functions Agile, transparent acting on own responsibility with customer-centred attitude Fluent German and English language skills Desired skills: Experience with usage of electrical design software, SAP, BidManager and CRM What we offer to you: Competitive compensation and benefits package Flexible working solutions Culture & Values – We are more than the products we invent and produce – the way we do business is just as important.
