Job Title: Technical Support Specialist (Application/Software) 信息技术专员（应用及软件）
Based at: Gaoming, Foshan
Responsible to: Group IT Manager (HQ)
Purpose of Role: To provide in-house support and application development for all internally developed and purchased applications, ERP, and related critical applications used among the Halo companies.

Responsibilities
1. Act as a subject matter expert to manage and support IT Ops and the business of Halo core ERP (i.e. IBS) that used across subsidiaries in China HSS, Hong Kong headquarter and in the Europe and UK. Playing a hand's on support ERP for the service in accordance with industry best practice and group policies.
2. Project central coordinator and providing input to execute IT projects of other shared applications deployment and other ongoing system improvement initiatives, with IT project management and deliverables. Planning and mainly execution activities of project, with adequate / updated documentations including participation at the project design phase.
3. Develop local in-house systems to support the area business user requirements at headquarter and China office. (eg. PDM, other in-house applications, WSM etc.). In-house application development or enhance existing functionality with deliverables.
4. Support all interfaces that link to ERP core used at HK, China, Europe and UK. (i.e. PDM reporting, COGNOS reporting, WSM). Ensure interfaces functionality are accurate, reporting data integrity, newly added requests are analyzed, documented, and change request feasibility study to support go or no-go conclusion.
5. Provide technical training and maintain process documentation on all the above centrally managed application. Provide help desk and ERP training to HK, to internal user at HSS and via SKYPE to EU/UK.

Competencies/Skills required
Must
1. 3 years hands-on experience in applications support in the area of ERP, POS.
2. Software/Hardware setup, maintenance and trouble-shooting.
3. Highly motivated, fast learner, energetic, enthusiastic, good team-player and good analytical skill with ability to work independently.
4. Good communication skill and passionate to communicate to others.
5. Proficient in English and Mandarin.
6. Prepare system documentations.
Prefer
1. Knowledge on iSeries (AS400) platform
2. Experience in Supply Chain, Financial, Retail and wholesale industry is highly preferred.
3. Knowledge in T-SQL, is an advantage.
4. Collect user requirement, perform testing, data migration and review related documentation
5. Experience in any programming language
6. Knowledge of RPGLE and CLP programming languages
7. Skills of implementing BI tool, such as Cognos or Qlikview
8. Can speak in Cantonese

Education/Experience
Must
1. Computer Science or Information Technology related degree
Prefer
1. AS400 development and administration experience is preferred but not a must.
2. Working experience in MNC will be a plus (3 years or more)
3. A trainer / coach to junior staffs as well as who can execute (2 years)
