This exciting role offers opportunity to: Performs design, modeling, simulation and implementation of electronics or power electronics circuits for power conversion and protection Develops the technical requirements for and identify components for the designs Creates technical reports and presentations Leads and directs a team of engineers and projects to achieve stated goals and objectives Monitors and reports overall performance of a team. Creates performance based culture encouraging the team to develop measureable goals and objectives that support PE CoE strategies. Works with PE CoE director to attracts, coaches, and mentors team members and strengthens technical capability of the team Supports the PE CoE director to develop strategy, direction, and priorities. Creates action plans to drive strategies to realization. Stays current with the latest technologies and business trends, applies knowledge to power conversion and protection applications Qualifications Requirement: Basic Qualifications: BS in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or equivalent. Minimum 12 years of related engineering experience in electronics or power electronics designs and product development Minimum 5 years of experience in leading people Proven track record of leadership skills and technical capability Significant modeling, simulation, and analysis experience with tools like Matlab/Simulink, SPICE, and PLECS Hands on experience with electronics or power electronics development and testing Significant experience in PCB layout and PCB assembly process Customer focused with good relationship building and communication skills Strong written communication and verbal communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications: MS or PhD in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or equivalent. Experience with EM/EMC modeling/simulation and solving EMC emissions and immunity problems Experience in designing electronics with thermal and reliability consideration (e.g. electronic simulation for DfR and DfM or worst-case analysis) Experience working in diverse cultural situations with global customers Demonstrated knowledge of engineering processes Professional: Self-motivated and goal oriented individual. Good communication and presentation skills Collaborative orientation, the ability to succeed in a highly team oriented, global, and diverse environment.
