About The Role:
The Technical Team Lead, Semi Senior will establish a technical vision with the development team and work with developers to turn this vision it into a reality. As the role develops, the Technical Team Lead, Senior will take on traits that other roles may have, such as a Team Lead, Architect or Software Engineering Manager, but will remain hands-on with coding responsibilities.

Responsibilities: 

  • Act as organization authority of acquired knowledge.
  • Responsible for supervises work group production management processes / tools / workflows / methodologies and manages continuous process improvement. Ensures quality control for all outputs (internal / external) of the work group.    
  • Ensure quality and timelines of team's deliveries, as well as team's responsiveness and professional treatment of both external end internal clients.
  • Drive and support innovation for solving problems in development work or onboard new technologies with positive impact to the bussines/program the team supports.    
  • Establish, nurture and enforce technical practices among team members.    
  • Participates in creation of Unit annual budget by creating budget for his/her work group. Manages and regularly monitors Key Performance Indicators - revenue, internal costs and external spends, margins and takes appropriate actions to achieve the objectives.    
  • Monitor the technical capabilities of the team.
  • Whit guidance from superior organize team's path to mastery and autonomy.
  • Establish and track development process for the team. 
  • Act as mentor for team members. Trains and coaches new Technical Team Leads. 
  • Regularly follows industry news and trends. Improves his/her knowledge through active participation on trainings and self-trainings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • 6+ years experience working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of continuos deployment, and Agile methodologies an advantage for this role.
