Your role

As a service specialist you are supporting our world-wide service organizations for our Industry 4.0 products and production control technology products (production control, material flow, monitoring, ...) for complex system plants.

In our Second Level Support, you provide qualified advice regarding operation and procedures, functionalities, network and security requirements, commissioning and integration into the customer's infrastructure.

Support of our world-wide service organizations during commissioning , if required on-site at the customer's.

Error search and analysis as well as solution identification, either remote or sometimes on site. Error documentation with remedial measures for use by our world-wide service.

Consulting, support and training for our world-wide service organizations in the Smart Factory field.

Representation of service requirements for current development projects regarding installability, diagnostic options and stability of the product. Support of test customers.

Prioritized communication of the feedback from the field to the development.

Your profile

University degree in Engineering or Computer Science or successful training as a Qualified Technician in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering

Several years of working experience in the field of service, software development, production control or CAD/CAM.

Good Windows and network knowledge

Effective use of problem solving methods

Fluent written and spoken German and English

Structured, analytical method of working

Teamwork capability, proactivity, good communication skills and assertiveness
