Job Description

National Instruments is looking for a training specialist collaborating with Customer Operations teams on learning and development activities to drive operational excellence in every interaction. This person will have the opportunity to create new things, experiment with the latest concepts of training and grow individually in a highly supportive, high-tech environment, accompanied by engaged colleagues.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Delivers the range of Customer Operations “core-skills” training modules successfully.
  • Uses wide range of tools and latest technologies facilitating distance learning
  • Designs and develops content for effective knowledge transfer.
  • Delivers refresher sessions to guarantee material understanding.
  • Manages employee Onboarding for Customer Operations.
  • Creates a “culture of learning”; creating an inviting environment for individual participation.
  • Celebrates achievement milestones, offers ample hands-on practice for the range of modules, encourages questions, promotes peer to peer coaching, taking the time to extol excellence.
  • Modulates training tactics to reach the needs of every student, based on observed or expressed learning preferences.
  • Partners with L&D to drive employee development on soft skills and leadership skills
  • Partners with Managers, Quality & Process analysts to execute a Change Management plan in support of new policies & processes
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to continuously improve Customer Operations training curriculum



Qualifications

  • University degree BsC or MsC (not required to be in the field of learning and development)
  • Passion for developing others
  • Creative thinking and problem solving mindset
  • High degree of ownership and accountability
  • Strong communication in English
  • Coaching, and influencing skills
