This is your role Key Job functions / responsibilities are divided into 4 broad roles. Each role has been described in detail below: A. Test Validation Role: 30% (Will reduce once our application development has matured) 1. As part of development of new application, support in testing the new application. Provide design inputs wherever necessary 2. Validation is key part of accepting any software application. 3. Ensure key objectives of Application developed are met. 4. Check for speed / reliability and different hardware platforms to establish sustainability. 5. Explore which hardware from India could be best used 6. New Application would also use AI/ML. Familiarity with AI/ML would help in performing proper validation B. Performance Monitoring: 30% (Will increase once we have multiple sites. Team can be expanded if needed). Remote monitoring to wherever our new application is being provided to customers. Actively engage in Monitoring Performance improvement possibilities which includes (1) Smooth functioning of our application (2) Observe for any performance improvement opportunities wherein you shall work closely with domain experts. Flag any potential pattern to concerned expert before alerting customer. (3) Develop expertise skills on Data Analytics and AI/ML which will be either on Power BI or Qlik C. Configuration Role: 30% (Part of development process) 1. Software companies don’t fully understand how OPC works with multiple DCS Systems. Coordination with Software company to explain to them (a) How data is typically extracted via OPC-Server & (b) Hosting of information in Databases. (Site Server/Cloud) 2. Ensure proper firewall configuration if we must establish a new OPC-Server wherein data has to be consolidated with various DCS systems. D. Commissioning Role: 10% (Would happen more in FY’23 onwards. Negligible in FY’22) 1. Install & Commission new application developed in customer sites 2. Train new / young engineers who could take up this role for future commissioning and configuration management. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIERD: >10 Years We’ve got quite a lot to offer. How about you?
