Job Description
Technical Writer is a professional responsible for creating documentation that clarifies the product’s features and benefits. They work on requirements like content strategy or scoping out new products to ensure all necessary information has been included for users to understand what they’re reading quickly.

Scope and Responsibilities:
Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and user guides.
Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure and form documentation.
Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
Create and maintain the information architecture

Requirements and skills:
Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
Ability to check all technical material for consistency and accuracy
Proven working experience in technical writing of hardware and software documentation
Excellent written skills in English
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
