The Manufacturing and Product Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated individual to work in the challenging environment of product development. Product development engineers in this team work on architecture definitions, circuit and logic design and development recommendations for DFT implementations, verification and validation model development, functional and structural test content development with teams worldwide.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure the test and manufacture of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp.
- Make significant contributions to design, development, and validation of test-ability circuits.
- Evaluate, develop and debug of complex test methods.
- Develop and debug complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment.
- Create and test validation and production test hardware solutions.
- Test, validate, modify, and redesign circuits to guarantee component margin to specification.
- Silicon debug and characterization of new products including working with platform level validation teams to identify and close silicon issues.
- Analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability.
- Analyze early customer returns with an emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.
- Create and apply concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints.
- Autonomously plan and schedule own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
- In addition, candidate will engage in developing scripts for data analysis of manufacturing test.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must be pursuing a graduate-level degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
The candidate must be available to work full time for at least 3 months
6+ months of experience with the following:
- Circuit design and/or DFT
- Programming/Scripting in C/C++/Python/Perl
Preferred Qualifications
Pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
6+ months of experience with the following:
- ML/AI platforms
- ATPG
- Physical design
- STA tools

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
