POSITION SUMMARY

The Technician C is responsible for all approved emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, installation, conversions, relocations and upgrades on all Slot Machines and other gaming and ancillary technology to ensure the efficient operation of gaming equipment and minimal downtime. Performs all duties in accordance with GALAXY CASINO S.A. policies and within the realm of the GALAXY CASINO S.A.’s Mission Statement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

Key Functions

• Performance of ongoing preventative maintenance to ensure the serviceability of all Slot Machines and other gaming equipment, as well as the upkeep of their repair records. Maintain equipment to approved standard and schedules.
• Perform Slot Machine and related sub gaming equipments emergency repairs and other maintenance activities in accordance with manufacture guidelines and departmental procedures.
• Inspect all new machines and conversions kits prior to installation onto the gaming floor. Perform Slot Machine and related sub equipment moves, installation and reconfigurations to the gaming floor.
• Complete fault database to assist in trend analysis of all related gaming equipment.
• Assist in the management and control of spare parts, repairable items and consumables for Electronic Gaming Machines and sub equipments.
• Maintain security of equipment, record, locks and keys.
• Act in accordance with Departmental policies and procedures and DICJ controls and regulations.
• Perform all other duties in support of the department’s objectives as directed.

REQUIREMENTS

Working Experience: Minimum 1 year working knowledge of the various types of slot machines, and other related sub equipments, knowledge of installation and maintenance of gaming machines, links and gaming management systems essential. A fundamental knowledge of electronics and the ability to trouble shoot and repair integrated circuits, repair, computers, and slot related equipment highly desired, knowledge of electronic casino table auxiliary equipment highly regarded

Educational Level: High school graduate or equivalent. Certificate in Electronics/Electrical or engineering desired
Language Skill: Must be able to speak, write, read Chinese and understand English
Computer Skill: Must be able to operate a computer
Customer interaction: Must present a well groomed appearance
Team Work: Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team
Flexible schedule: Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift
Other requirements: Ability to read and interpret schematics, electric circuitry and blueprints.
