POSITION SUMMARY

The Technician – Electrical is responsible for carrying out electrical work for the operation & maintenance of Electrical Systems of Galaxy Macau to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation of Electrical Systems within the Galaxy Macau.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

1. Perform electrical works as per the approved Operation and Maintenance Job Plan and Procedures for all Electrical Systems and associated equipment/ systems.
2. Carry out the repairing, trouble shooting, planned Preventive/ Corrective Maintenance programs to the required working standards through the use of Computerized Maintenance Management System.
3. Report to Supervisor/ Senior Technician – Electrical for the material and part requirement, work progress of Electrical Team and contractors.
4. Maintain effective relationships within engineering teams and across the Galaxy Macau business units and service providers in compliance with approved policies and procedures of Galaxy Macau.
5. Maintain a good culture of Workplace Health & Safety and continual development of team members through training, standard operation procedures and effective daily communication.
6. Attend shift duties, training and perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Experienced in operation and maintenance of Electrical Systems in a large hotel facility or equivalent.
2. Holder of Craft Certificate in relevant engineering disciplines or 5 years practical working experience.
3. Possession of the relevant Electrical Worker Certificate.
4. Mature, helpful and pleasant characters with leadership skill, communication technique, proactive & positive manner, team-player spirit, result-oriented mind-set, uncompromised integrity and “CAN DO” attitude.
5. Proficient in writing and verbal communication in Chinese (Cantonese/ Putonghua).
6. Exposure in hotel/ hospitality industry is preferred.
7. PC working knowledge is preferred.
