KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist in evaluating, measuring and fit test all samples to ensure they conform to the specification requirements
• Approve fit sample, pre-production samples and size-set samples.
• Measure, review sample patterns against standard sloper patterns, review style details against Product Data Management (PDM) / sample spec and fit test all samples on standard mannequin.
• Evaluate and provide corrective action comments to vendor on sample fitting and paper pattern corrections.
• Provide technical support and advice to vendors and work closely with our US designers and technicians to ensure prompt sample approval.
• Communicate with NY designers and technicians and vendors through email, PDM and when required through video conference/phone conversation.
• Work with Merchandising teams to ensure punctual sample submission and approval.

REQUIREMENTS :

• 8 - 10 years industry experience required.
• Apparel Technical Qualification High Certificate or Higher.
• With good fitting & pattern knowledge.
• On the ground manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in developing best practice solutions.
