Eaton's eMobility division is looking for a Planning Technician m/f for his Montrottier site (45 minutes from Lyon). Would you like to make a difference to the environment? To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E You will join our eMobility Division, which is currently experiencing massive growth thanks to various recent major wins. eMobility designs and manufactures innovative energy converters primarily used in the automotive industry. You would be registered at our Montrottier factory (less than an hour away from Lyon). Job Summary Plan and place MO (Manufacturing order) according to MRP requirements (customer PO and forecast). Ensure that MO are released on time in production in order to deliver customer On Time. SAP confirms a delivery schedule to customer department when they enter customer PO on SAP. Job Responsibilities Convert and plan customer’s purchase orders and forecasts into Manufacturing Orders, and update them according raw material availability and production capacity. Confirm delivery schedule and communicate delivery delay when there is a planning delay. Place forecasts into MRP system. Deal with internal PO for RandD as standard customer PO. Communicate weekly with procurement team in order to avoid shortages. Communicate weekly with production manager (and all people in charge of planning within Eaton sites, i.e France and Morocco) in order to update production planning according to production capacity. Integrate master data update and modification request on MO. Participate actively to modification application committee. Implement backup Report to cusotmer service and planning manager.
