Job Purpose:

• To support Country Commercial/Technical Service Teams across Asia Pacific Region

in delivering inorganic business growth through Rigids application or product development;

or in sustaining existing business through resolving long-haul customer production

problems.

Principal Accountabilities:

1) EHS and Business Conduct Compliance (10%)

• Comply and ensure zero reportable EHS incident and no breach of Corporate Business

Conduct policy and regulations.

2) Technical (Application and Product) Development (70%)

- Carry out the Rigids Development Projects assigned and instructed by Technical Manager,

In collaboration with the relevant Country Commercial/TS Teams, and ultimately

contribute to the generation of sales.

3) Technical Assets (20%)

- Operate and maintain equipment for Rigids applications in proper manners.

Required Education/ Knowledge/Skills/Experiences

(education, experience, skills and training required for the job )

Education:

- Master or above degree with major in polymer science or other chemical-related fields.

Knowledge:

- In-depth knowledge about Rigids technologies, applications and the industries.

- Sufficient knowledge about chemicals business, marketing, supply chain, finance etc..

Skills:

- Effective interpersonal, communication, negotiating and influencing skills.

- Strong Rigids application and product development skill.

- Sufficient equipment operation skill for PU Rigids applications.

- Sufficient computer application skills. (Excel, Words, Powerpoint, Lotus Notes etc.)

- Fluent English command.

Experiences:

- More than 5 years’ technical development or service related experience in Rigids fields, with proven track record, and preferably with multi-national companies.
