Essential Responsibilities:  Lead the cross-function team, including design engineers, sourcing and engineers in CM to ensure program on-time delivery.
 Own the technical tollgate reviews, and pass it on time.
 Interpret the market demand into technical requirements for new product development;

 Participate in defining product specifications, Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design Freeze, Design Validation, Product & Process Qualification;
 Work with Quality, Manufacturing and Sourcing Teams in interfacing with suppliers;
 Work with suppliers and improve their capability to meet GE standards;
Qualifications/Requirements:  Engineering background. Bachelor's degree and above.
 Over 2 years engineering experience in lighting, appliance or consumer electronic industry. Fresh graduates from accredited university will also be considered.
 Fluent Chinese and English on both oral and written language;
 Eager to initiate and drive changes cross different function teams; willing to take challenges and learn new knowledge.
Desired Characteristics:  Lighting or LED engineering experience, such as system design, driver, mechanical, optical design.
 Project management experience
 Familiar with the new product introduction process.
 Familiar with Lean six sigma methodology.
