Lenovo is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager who will be
responsible to develop the business with key retail, e-tail and telco partners
but also develop market verticals. Interfacing with Product Operations,
Product Management and the Marketing team you will prepare the sales plans and
manage go-to-market strategy. This makes you a crucial and visible team member
across the board!
Your detailed responsibilities are:
• Track and feedback project details, design-in and qualifications plans based
on the in-country competitive land-scape, process technology and qualification
status.
• Performing trials and testing on to-be-launched phones, plus validating
software builds to ensure product launches on time.
• You identify key customer requirements and coordinate a smooth sell in and
sell out planning
• You share trends and new biz opportunities with Product Management
• You are responsible for product lifecycle management
Organization
You will report to EM PO Lead and you will collaborate with the Markets Sales
Leaders, Business Unit General Manager, EMEA Sales Ops Manager as well as GSC
and Finance.
#### Position Requirements:
Position Requirements:
• 5 years previous experience in Product Operations / Field Application
Engineer in the telecommunications industry
• Familiarity with the retail/reseller business in the MEA region
• Ability to multi-task, research and analyze different broker, distribution
and retail situations, to adapt and respond to change
• Professional fluency in English and Arabic.
• Experienced in CITC and TRA certification process.
• Familiar with TA process of the key operators in Middle East, including
Etisalat, Du, STC, Zain and Mobily.
• Prior knowledge with QXDM is a plus.
