Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the responsible technology domains for normal operation
• Evaluate, design and implement the structure of new technology solutions
• Design and improve management processes and standards of responsible technology domains for developers to follow and build IT systems
• Oversee system solutions to assure all new systems and technology solutions aligning with the defined management processes and standards
• Define the technology standards which allow the Developers and IT Officers to follow when building and implementing technical solutions
• Maintain the responsible technology platforms to assure they are updated, stable and robust in operations, and update operating, configuration, contingency and recovery procedures accordingly for up-to-date changes
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to project teams in solution designs and assure solutions are aligning with defined technology standards
• Build performance measurement model to monitor the system performance of responsible platforms to locate possible discrepancies of technical designs and security vulnerabilities for identifying improvement and resolution fixes
• Review system obsolescence and capacity reports to recommend new technology solutions to assist the formulation of long-term IT development strategies and budgets
• Review and refine the current technology platforms and architecture to assure they are on par with the new technology trends for features improvement
• Develop the evaluation plan and proof of concept (POC) tools to evaluate new technology products and solutions
• Estimate the impacts of costs, resources and synergy improvement for the implementation of new technology products / solutions
• Perform evaluation based on the evaluation plan and review results
• Make recommendation new technology products / solutions
• Manage projects for new solution implementation and technology upgrades
• Document the technology standards and train application developers to follow
• Design and implement technical solutions to meet business needs as required

Requirements:

• Diploma in Computer Studies / Science or its equivalent
• Minimum 5-year experience in IT related technical support & internetworking works with experience in managing complex infrastructure architecture
• Solid knowledge across any of the below technology segments:

- IBM AIX operating system, PowerHA and GPFS

- Redhat Linux operating system

- IBM Websphere Application server

- IBM SAN storage

• Able to perform installation, configuration and troubleshooting on major IT and communication hardware and software products.
• Possess a strong technical background in system administration and operation skills.
• Good communication skill in both spoken and written English.
• Additional knowledge of below will be an advantage:

1. ITIL
2. PCloud service
3. Symantec Netbackup
4. Microsoft Windows server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
