Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual to become a valued member of our successful Digital Tower team as a Senior Product Manager with relevant experience in the Telecom industry. We are looking for an SME (subject matter expert) with extensive experience in inventory management, construction documents, structural analysis, 3D CAD models, tower modifications, and telecom tower lifecycle management.  

 

Location: Remote, based from a home office with preference in California

 

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with management, sales, development, marketing, and technical support to ensure revenue and user satisfaction goals are met.
• Define and refine product strategy by analyzing industry and user trends.
• Create product roadmaps and communicate future product direction that leverages existing product success and guarantees market growth.
• Perform competitive analysis to determine product strengths and weaknesses relative to market requirements.
• Plays a proactive role in product planning and design to ensure the product is differentiated from competitors.
• Leading the overall product strategy, research, and development requirements for new and existing products.
• Participating in the technical product development, estimating potential benefits, software development time, and manpower requirements, and in charge of final product release to the market.
• Providing expert-level support, services, and training to our client base. 

 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant industry experience
• Experience in telecom towers as a whole system and combination of its subsystems, including tower structures (monopole, lattice, guyed), mounting frames, equipment, and foundations
• Experience in site planning/site acquisition/construction
• Familiarity with Digital Twin, drone, and SaaS
• Excellent outfacing communication and presentation skills
• This role requires travel up to 25%
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.

 

Desired

• MS degree along with a PE license is preferred
• Experienced user of tower management software (Sitetracker, Nexus, Siterra)
• Knowledge of major international load and design standards for telecom structures, including US, Canadian, and European standards. Foundation design principles related to tower structures
