We are looking for a technical lead for a new validation team of 8-10 engineers. This team will validate hardware performance telemetry and the tools that collect it, including open source and proprietary versions similar to Linux perf. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in test generation, test/code coverage, and will be able to recommend a validation strategy including goal development, automated reporting, and hardware test requirements. As we are building a new team, the ideal candidate is expected to recommend a test automation framework that works across multiple operating systems, including virtual and simulated environments, possibly extending the existing test automation framework.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BS or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field
Proven record of leading a validation team (2+ years)
Experience working in Linux and Windows
Mastery of Python, C/C++, bash/shell scripting
Expertise in build/test infrastructure frameworks: Jenkins and/or TeamCity, Selenium
Problem-solving/triage skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Intel Microarchitecture Knowledge
FreeBSD, ESXi/Hyper-V experience

Work Model for this Role
