Job Description

The job holder’s responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young person’s for whom s/he is responsible, or with whom s/he comes into contact will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the relevant Cognita Safeguarding; Child Protection Policy and Procedures at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the role, the job holder identifies any instance that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, s/he must report any concerns to the School’s Child Protection Officer/Designated Safeguarding Lead or to the Head of indeed to the Regional CEO so that a referral can be made accordingly to the relevant third party services.

 

Responsible for the school’s administrative duties (filing, copying, faxing, etc) to ensure the smooth operation of the school.

General Duties:

  • Provide general administrative support
  • Respond to telephone, walk-in and email enquiry (parents, schools, staff and third parties)
  • Order stationery and refreshments
  • Prepare regular report for management’s review
  • Coordinate purchase orders from schools, inclusive of Educational and sporting equipment (local and overseas
  • Prepare brochures and welcome packs and distribute to schools
  • Data Entry
  • To cover at schools whenever necessary
  • Perform ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Good command of English speaking and writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patient, mature, confident team player and ability to work under pressure
  • Computer literate
  • Relevant administration experience required
  • Immediate availability preferred 
  • 3 months contract (extension of service upon the need of the group)
  • Good organization skills
