The MSc Programs Office looks after a portfolio of specialized MSc programs at the HKUST Business School, including MSc in Financial Analysis, Financial Technology, Global Management, Global Operations, Information Systems Management, International Management, and Investment Management. Students of the full-time programs are mainly fresh graduates from all over the world while students of the part-time programs are mainly working executives in various industries and functions in Asia including the Greater China region.
The MSc Programs Office is looking for a high caliber candidate to support one of the MSc programs mentioned above. The appointee will be responsible for all aspects of the program administration and operation of the designated program, including but not limited to supporting the Academic Director in course planning and class scheduling; coordinating with teaching faculty on course delivery; liaising with external and internal parties in classroom arrangement; providing administrative and on-site or off-site support to faculty members; acting as the student interface to manage student matters; performing daily office administration work, and any other duties as assigned.
The appointee will also manage the marketing events and admission process of the program, including preparation of marketing collaterals; planning and execution of promotion campaigns; co-ordination of admission events, and supporting the student recruitment and admission process.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree, preferably in business disciplines with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in program administration and/or education sector. The ideal candidate should have a pleasant personality; attention to details; strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, and a problem-solving mindset. He/She should be a good team player but also be able to work independently. The appointee should possess good interpersonal, communication and co-ordination skills with a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. He/She should be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint with basic computer knowledge. Working outside normal office hours and during weekends/public holidays are required/expected. (Duration: 6 months)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Medical benefits and paid leave will be provided where applicable.
