Temporary Design Technology Technician

(Required from 4 November 2019 to 21 February 2019)
Seeking a knowledgeable and responsible individual to join our forward-thinking
Design Technology department to cover a 14 week maternity leave period.

Requirements:-
● Post–secondary or above;
● Working knowledge of workshop machines, tools and equipment;
● CAD literate, including Adobe Illustrator and 3D CAD (e.g. Fusion 360);
● Experience using laser cutters and 3D printers is desirable;
● Good communication skills in both English and Chinese is prefered;
● Experience of working with children or in a school setting is an advantage, but
not essential.

This is a position for which the following are essential:
- post secondary education or above,
- working knowledge of workshop machines, tools and equipment,
- CAD literacy, including Adobe Illustrator and 3D CAD (e.g. Fusion 360),
- good communication skills in both English and Chinese.
This is a position for which the following are preferred:
- experience in using laser cutters and 3D printers,
- experience of working with children or in a school setting,
- experience with basic first aid and/or health and safety requirements of a workshop
