Job Description

The Job

  • To assist in implementing communication and publicity programmes related to the MPF System and MPFA;
  • To assist in event planning, publicity and execution of an award scheme organized by the MPFA;
  • To assist in preparing publicity materials, production and delivery of various publicity deliverables such as advertisements and publications;
  • To assist in news monitoring and organizing press events;
  • To provide clerical support for the Media Team in the preparation of press materials;
  • To assist in handling departmental administrative and operational duties; and
  • To perform other duties as assigned.

The Person

  • A recognized degree, preferably in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications, or equivalent;
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in marketing communications, publicity, public relations, preferably gained from sizable corporations or public organizations;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Good interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and project management skills;
  • Flexible, conscientious, open-minded and a good team player; and
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.

Candidates with less experience may also be considered. The temporary appointment will tentatively commence in December 2019.

Remuneration Package

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and relevant experience. The appointment will be made on a 4-month fixed-term contract.
