The Job

• To assist in planning and organizing media and communications programmes;
• To prepare press materials, such as speaking notes, press releases, powerpoint slides and articles, for dissemination to the media, stakeholders and the public;
• To provide logistics support for media events;
• To monitor news, public opinions and stakeholders’ views relevant to the MPF System and MPFA and prepare daily press summaries;
• To conduct researches, compile reports and maintain databases; and
• To perform other duties as assigned.

The Person

• A recognized degree, preferably in communications, public relations or journalism, or equivalent;
• At least two years of relevant experience in public relations or media;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Highly sensitive to media issues;
• Willing to work overtime and take on ad-hoc tasks as and when necessary; and
• Able to work independently, under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 

Remuneration Package

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and relevant experience. The appointment will be made on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
