All the programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and most are also accredited by the relevant professional bodies. In 2019/20, twelve programmes are in the Government’s Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP), which provides subsidies to students varying from $41,700 to $72,800 per year. He/she will be required to conduct literature review, conduct synthesis of high valent metal oxo and nitride species and metal complexes bearing phosphates ligands, conduct synthesis of macrocyclic ligands bearing N and O atoms, conduct chemical analysis of metal-oxo, metal-nitride or metal complexes bearing phosphate ligands, and perform other research duties as assigned by the PI. | | | | Requirements: | | The successful candidate should have a sub-degree, preferably a recognised degree, in Chemistry, or relevant disciplines, or equivalent level of study. Those with experience in the operation of GC-MS, LC-MS, ESI-MS, UV-Vis and NMR would have an advantage. | | | | Notes: | | (1) | Candidates may be appointed on part-time employment. | | (2) | The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary. | | (3) | The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. |
