• assisting in collecting and compiling fundamental research;
• conducting survey, interviews and linguistic experiments as well as data entry and analysis;
• providing a wide range of administrative support to the project; and
• carrying out any other duties as assigned by Project Investigator.
  

 

• a recognized degree or above in applied linguistic discipline, e.g. second language acquisition, sociolinguistics; preferably with a higher degree and be familiar with experimental design and quantitative data analysis;
• strong sense of responsibility and good organization and interpersonal skills;
• competency in computer skills ( e.g. MS Office using Word, Excel and SPSS);
• self-motivated and meticulous, and be able to meet deadlines and work independently;
• an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
• priority will be given to candidate who has relevant research or project administration experience.
  

 

Compensation Package
Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary full-time contract. He/she will be appointed from January 2020 for about 6 months and appointment may be renewable subject to mutual agreement. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
