Temporary Research Officer/Assistant Research Officer

Department of Applied Psychology

The appointee will assist in research projects related to mood and cognitive processing. The appointee is expected to (i) assist in literature search and review; (ii) assist in data collection, data entry and statistical analysis; and (iii) perform any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator. Training in research skills will be provided. The appointee will have the opportunity to gain experience in conducting research in community and clinical settings.

Requirements

Applicants should have (i) a bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology or a related discipline; (ii) knowledge of and experience in using SPSS; (iii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and (iv) a strong sense of responsibility.

Salary and Benefits

The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, and mandatory provident fund.
