Job Description

The Chemical Engineering Department invites applications for temporary research positions in the area of Chemical Engineering. Appointments in the Specialist Series and Project Scientist Series will be for one year with the possibility of limited reappointments on an annual basis in accordance with applicable personnel policies and availability of funding.


Apply by September 31st, 2016 for primary consideration; however, applications will be kept active for consideration within the department for one year. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies depending on the needs of the department. Applicants must resubmit a new application each year beginning January 1 to retain eligibility.

Applicants must possess a doctorate or its equivalent in Engineering/Physical Sciences. Desirable qualifications include demonstrating expertise in the field of Chemical Engineering and have demonstrated and have an outstanding research record. Appointment salary and benefits will depend on academic background and experience.
