(a)

To perform teaching and related academic / administrative duties for the Physical Education (PE) modules of the Structured Whole Person Development (SWPD) Programme, PE core programmes and the sports training activities;

(b)

To support implementation and coordination of student projects and functions;

(c)

To organize sports recreation activities;

(d)

To act as coach of sports teams and serve in various boards / committees / work groups as required; and

(e)

To liaise with counterparts in IVE campuses, HKDI, YC, student unions, departments and external organizations for PE programmes and sports events.

(a)

A recognized degree in Physical Education / Sports / Sports Science or a relevant discipline with teaching practicum in school setting or equivalent;

(b)

The ability to coach at least two sports;

(c)

Good presentation, communication, teaching and facilitation skills;

(d)

Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, preferably with knowledge in Putonghua; and

(e)

Community networking / linkage with professional bodies will be an advantage.

The appointee may be required to work irregular hours.
