Major Duties:
The appointee shall report to the Principal Investigator (PI) of the project. He/she will be required to conduct literature review, conduct synthesis of high valent metal-oxo and nitride species and metal complexes bearing chelating ligands, conduct photochemical nitrogenation by osmium (VI) nitride complex, conduct chemical analysis of metal-oxo, metal-nitride or metal complexes bearing chelating ligands, and perform other research duties as assigned by the PI.

Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a sub-degree, preferably a recognised degree in Chemistry, or relevant disciplines, or equivalent level of study. Those with experience in the operation of GC-MS, LC-MS, ESI-MS, UV-Vis and NMR would have an advantage.

Notes:
(1) Candidates may be appointed on temporary or part-time employment.
(2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(4) The appointee will work on Tsing Yi campus.
