Major Duties:

(a)

To perform teaching duties including conducting classes and practical training, and supervision of students’ projects in one or more of the above subject areas;

(b)

To assist in developing flipped learning materials for Senior Secondary ICT Curriculum;

(c)

To assist in updating and developing programme curriculum and teaching materials;

(d)

To assist in student and academic administration of the research project (e.g. development of website of the Community of Practice, survey of students’ and teachers’ feedbacks, on-site meeting/support to participating schools, etc.); and

(e)

To assist the Principal Investigator in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to organize teacher development activities, public forums and focus groups interviews.

(a)

A relevant recognized degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computing, Multimedia and Entertainment Technology, Creative Media or equivalent, or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;

(b)

Strong communication and presentation skills, and writing skills in both in English and Chinese;

(c)

Fast and accurate typing in English and Chinese would be an advantage; and

(d)

Immediate availability is preferred.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English.

(2)

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours.

(3)

The appointee(s) will be posted to the Department of Information Technology of IVE (Tsing Yi).
