Territory Business Manager

Job Description

 

 

We are looking for an exceptional Territory Business Manager to join our Multi Channel Field Sales Team based in the Auckland region. This is an important and exciting role in our business, in which the successful candidate will have amazing selling skills and a talent for forming and maintaining effective relationships. Along with this, you will be responsible for achieving sales plans by focusing on brand availability, shelf presence, secondary site displays and product distribution in line with identified category priorities, as well as maximising the effectiveness of trade promotional expenditure and developing and maintaining excellent relationships with the trade.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executes the customer and Multi Channel strategy for the territory, managing available resources to achieve NSV, GSV targets and other relevant measures.
  • Develops profitable account plans for Impulse and convenience accounts within your territory
  • Maintains knowledge about general business, competitor and environmental factors which have the potential to impact the territory or business as a whole and plans ahead accordingly.
  • Achieves quality call coverage and call rate frequency in line with agreed objectives.  Demonstrates strong time management ability. Can manages time effectively to maximise in-store opportunities versus travel and down time.
  • Maximises promotional sales opportunities through the sell-in planning and execution of secondary site displays in-store, shelf presence and availability.  Ensures compliance with agreed promotional terms.
  • Builds solid relationships and demonstrates strong selling and influencing skills within their designated customer base.  Actively seeks to further develop and increase sales within their territory.
  • Provides competitor market intelligence to the business with a sense of urgency.
  • Manage costs prudently, making efficient use of the operational budget.

 

The ideal candidate

  • 3+ years of demonstrated sales experience preferred
  • Business acumen and analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • FMCG experience preferred
  • Full Drivers Licence
