The organization is looking for Testing Services and Automation SME to contribute to Quality Assurance team to uplift quality and standards in the organization. This role will work guideline & best practice in the development of the test automation and manage testing plan and test execution

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and build test strategies, frameworks, policy, metrics, methodologies and tools capable of both functional and non-functional testing across the enterprise-wide applications to maintain best practices and high-quality of application implementation and delivery
• Work with key business and technology stakeholders (Eg. Product Owner, Scrum Master) and/or project stakeholders to develop the test plan, approach, schedule, resources, budget estimation, backlog/scope etc. for different testing activities to ensure every automation test request has been followed and completed properly
• Coordinate and liaise with business units, IT, external vendors, and/or project teams to resolve any testing issues or conflicts
• Manage the testing teams on building test plans, testing scripts, test reports and functional and non-functional test executions
• Lead and implement test automation and governance and integrate with existing CI/CD pipelines and reporting tools for best practices
• Manage, optimize, and prioritize testing resources including onshore and offshore testing vendors (Eg. QA leads and QA engineers) for daily support on different testing activities
• Maintain and measure the quality software delivery and standard
• Communicate progress and issues through regular status reporting and meeting to the team, department, Management, and IT Steering Committee
• Document internal audits and other automation testing activities
• Continuously analyze and identify areas for possible improvements in the automation testing procedures, frameworks, and practice
• Present, train and provide guidance to application teams on QA and testing standards and best practices for application quality improvement
• Reviews and analyses project deliverables and metrics against prescribed quality tollgates

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of solid Test Management and Test Governance experience
• Excellent knowledge of Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Governance, Test Engineering, and agile concept
• Extensive experience in leading a testing function with leadership responsibilities
• Experience in leading a testing functionality with testing strategy and direction
• Hands-on experience using Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
• Understanding of multiple test automation tools and frameworks including Cucumber, Selenium, SoapUl, UFT, SeeTest Cloud, Eclipse, Jenkins, any CI/CD tools etc.
• Expertise in test planning and strategy, test execution design, test environment monitoring and configuration management, and defect management
• Strong knowledge of the SDLC with expertise in QA and test design, process and methodology, specifically in Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps environment
• Able to work independently and in multitasking environment
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related disciplines
• Excellent hands on working experience in managing test plan, test cases, and defects using tools including Jira / Xray
• Knowledge of current industry-wide quality and test processes and practices, tools and techniques
• Understanding of various testing phases and objectives in a software development lifecycle
• Able to work in fast paced and challenging environments
• Self-starter, creative thinking, proactive and enthusiastic and a team player
• You are required to obtain the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities
