Eaton’s Power Systems division is currently seeking a Test & Control Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro facility. The Test & Control Engineer is responsible for ensure the safety of operators and technicians involved or operate test equipment in their areas and ensure product quality to compliance with international standards that apply to each one. Some activities related with the position will be: Updated the backups of equipment their work areas, must keep at the last level backups PLC, HMI and machines computers of the area allocated. Should support the areas of EHS, Quality, Production, Manufacturing and Maintenance, without losing sight of that priority are test equipment of the area allocated. Update the documentation required of the production area to operate test equipment. Test equipment calibrated according to the period required by Quality. Plan and supervise the preventive maintenance are performed to test equipment. Updated the list of critical spare parts to the test equipment. Keep at the last level the controls database of the plant equipment. Involved in savings projects and continuous improvement to the plant. Participate in the creation and modification of FMEA Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Engineering related to the area. 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing, engineering and maintenance activities. Advance PLC knowledge (Allen Bradley and Siemens), Industrial Networks (Ethernet IP, Device Net, Profibus), electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electronic Preferred Qualifications: knowledge, Vision System (Cognex) Basic knowledge of probability and statistics, lean manufacturing tools Recommended knowledge high voltage test and measure.
