Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking an Test Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Euclid, OH facility. Position Overview: The Test Engineer is responsible for supporting implementation of electronic interface of equipment and the installation of instrumentation and data acquisition equipment. The Test Engineer reports to the Test Engineering Manager and is responsible for the mechanical equipment and instrumentation used on engineering and production test stands which test main engine and airframe fuel pumps. The Euclid facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace main engine fuel pumps and components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets. In this role, you will: Determine equipment needed for testing and assist in completing test set-ups. Read and interpret test specifications. Record and maintain data in an orderly manner and turn in completed TRs. Provide technical support in troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical and electrical test stand equipment. Follow all safety requirements for working in a hazardous (class 1, Division 1, Group D) area. Support implementation of electronic interface of equipment, installation of instrumentation and data acquisition equipment. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum of three (3) months of experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, or lab environment. Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Euclid, OH facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
